Julie is passionate about creating the conditions for teams to solve meaningful human problems and doing it at scale. She has over 20 years experience managing UX design and shipping digital products in enterprise and start-up settings.
 
In her current role leading the UXD Center of Excellence at  Fidelity, she focuses on driving cohesive, high quality experiences across an enterprise with 4 business units, hundreds of products, and thousands of associates.  She justified and led the first cross-business design system leading to 5x efficiency in designing and developing quality experiences. She also invented a Customer Behavior Architecture as a tool for systems thinking and cross-enterprise alignment. This first-of-its-kind taxonomy of customer tasks was integrated with core business systems to enable customer-centric views of: team alignment, operational reporting, behavior analytics, call center analysis, personalization rules, and more.
 
She presently teaches a graduate class in design leadership at Mass College of Art and Design. She has also lectured on evidence-driven design for graduate innovation programs at MIT and Yale.
